Blizzard is bringing one of the most anticipated patches to World of Warcraft Classic

Blizzard Entertainment is bringing one of the most anticipated patches to World of Warcraft Classic today. Fans of the 15-year-old game will be treated with PVP battlegrounds, starting with the 10-vs-10 Warsong Gulch and the 40-vs-40 Alterac Valley. The patch will also include elemental invasions across Azeroth and the keyring.

“We’ve been following the deadly deeds of the Classic community closely over the last week as the Honor system sparked an impressive amount of World PvP on PvP realms, and we’re excited to see what might transpire over the next three weeks”, Blizzard wrote last month. “Nonetheless, like many of you, we can’t wait to charge into some battlegrounds, so we’ve detached this content unlock from the plan we previously announced.”

In addition to enabling to new battlegrounds, WoW Classic Patch 1.13.3 enables Elemental Invasions in Kalimdor and Keyring bag. Interesting to note is that the patch also offers support for Blizzard’s paid character transfer service, which may be enabled later on. Various elementals are invading Azeroth, creating limited-time events in four high-level zones - Un’goro Crater, Azshara, Winterspring, and Silithus. Players are able to defeat an elemental boss and their underlings to save a zone. This was mainly added to give players another way to earn rare elemental crafting materials, which only drop from a limited amount of monsters in the game.

Last but not least, the long-awaited keyring is finally being added to the game. The keyring is a convenient feature that sorts all of a player's keys into one place, reducing clutter and freeing up some much-needed bag space.
