World Of Warcraft Classic Name Reservation Unlocks on August 12

Blizzard has announced that name reservation for WoW classic opens on August 12 at 22:00 GMT. To reserve your name, you need to have an active subscription or game time on your World of Warcraft account. If you got this covered, then you are on your way to creating up to three characters per WoW account so you can have them ready when the game opens. Blizzard has not stated exactly how you’ll reserve your name and if it will be in the game or on a website, but it will likely be the former.

The post also mentions that details regarding realm names and types will be released later this week, so you can look out for any updates on the official World of Warcraft Classic forums here. This should allow some time for players who have friends to coordinate their efforts with regards to realms a few weeks before the game officially releases. Of course, seeing as some realms will inevitably see more influx and traffic than others due to various reasons, Blizzard will be posting warnings about potentially long queues for those realms to allow for some time to choose an alternate one. It’s also worth noting that character creation will also be limited to one faction per realm for PvP realms. When starting to play World of Warcraft Classic game, World of Warcraft Classic Gold is a necessary element on condition that you would like to hold a leadership position in World of Warcraft Classic game.

Anyone with an active subscription for World of Warcraft or game time on their account will be able to make the reservations, and the developer has plans to release realm names and types around the same time. But there are a few things worth remembering before you do. It’s worth noting that players will only be able to make characters from one selected faction if they go for a PvP server. However, once live you’ll be able to add more characters to the account – a max of 10 characters per server, or 50 across all realms.

The number of WoW Classic character that can be created per WoW game account will change to the following limits:

A maximum of 10 characters per WoW Classic realm.
A maximum of 50 characters across all WoW Classic realms in your region.
Only one faction per realm on PvP realms.
